ADA JIANG

In 2013, I moved to New York to study Music Business at NYU and have worked in digital marketing in various sectors of the music industry. I studied abroad at NYU Berlin in 2016 and discovered the world of creative technology. With a strong passion for music and art, I decided to follow a more creative path by experimenting with new media technologies to unleash my imaginations. Two years later, I went on to pursue a Master’s degree at Interactive Telecommunications Program at New York University.

During my time at ITP, I was able to exercise my creative thinking and explore the imaginative use of various human-computer interactions. My main focus was designing interactive and experimental sound experiences. I performed live sets, invented my own virtual and physical instruments to generate music algorithmically, and built sound installations as well as immersive sonic experiences in XR. I have also designed, programmed and published iOS apps.

I love experimenting with concepts and finding interesting intersections where different disciplines clash. Combining my multi-disciplinary approach in art, programming and human-centered design, I hope to build meaningful digital experiences for people to interact with.
